We are looking for a:
Trade Marketing & Brand Activation Specialist
The life of a Trade Marketing & Brand Activation Specialist @LEROY MERLIN:
Trade Marketing & Opecom Management
Annual Planning: Develops the annual commercial activation plan (Opecom Plan) based on customer insights & business needs and shares/aligns it with key company stakeholders.
Operational Leadership: Defines the details of the communication brief per operation (Opecom) according to seasonal themes and prepares product requirements for all parties involved.
Commercial Steering: Pilots the company’s national discounts (balancing promo depth vs. EDLP) and ensures that the final selection builds a strong Value for Money (V4M) price perception in the consumer's mind.
Promo Execution: Designs, coordinates, and monitors the execution of trade marketing & promotional activities, ensuring 360° alignment (In-store, Radio, TV, Leaflets, Digital).
Process Optimization: Manages the opecom process retroplanning and ensures the constant improvement of internal workflows (creation, optimization, and running).
Data-Driven Insights: Analyzes consumer and market data and monitors competition to provide actionable insights and benchmarks regarding annual planning, offer types & on-going optimizations.
Performance Evaluation: Tracks and evaluates promotional performance (ROI, Traffic, Turnover, Elasticity), ensuring alignment with targets and budget.
Price Accuracy & Quality Control: Supports the production of monthly leaflets and catalogs, focusing on content checking, price accuracy, and final proofreading to ensure zero errors.
Reporting: Creates comprehensive reports on campaign results, promoting a culture of results-linked communication (budget vs. turnover and traffic achieved).
We will have the perfect match if you have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Trade Marketing, Category Management support, or Commercial roles, ideally within Retail.
Technical Skills: * Advanced MS Office and/or Google Suite (Excel for tracking/pricing, PowerPoint for presentations).
Experience with Market Data tools and Data Visualization (e.g., Power BI).
Languages: Fluent in English and Greek (written and oral). French will be an asset.
Strong Collaborative Mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Highly Organized and Disciplined.
Results-oriented with extreme attention to detail.
